    Harmonic are proud to be working with a high net worth hospitality business based in London, currently looking for a Finance Director on a 6-month contract.



    The business is an award-winning hospitality business and one of the UK's leading prospects in the market. They operate a wide range of serviced assets as well as owned assets across the UK and have a great reputation for high standards and user experience. As a result of recent years, they have grown an impressive portfolio of over 50 assets managed.



    Culturally the team are incredibly personable, professional and sociable. Finance plays an integral role so there is great respect from the wider business on what impact you'll have, meaning there is an excellent chance to make positive changes and decisions for the business.



    The role is internally focussed, and you'll be reporting into the CEO. This role will have the wider support of an experience finance team of 20 who would be under your own management.

    The Duties:



    * Responsible for the group financial accounting, reporting and consolidation under FRS 101/102
    * Ownership of the monthly management accounts
    * Control of the Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
    * Production of monthly budgeting and forecasting
    * Quarterly reporting for current investors with the potential to also business partner into a dedicated external investor official in-time
    * Incorporate an environment where budgets holders are aware of their respective budget and short/long term forecasting
    * Cost analysis and commercial product modelling
    * Tailor financial processes in time with company growth and expand dedicated finance function
    * Liaising with the external auditors to ensure the audit process is strictly adhered to the agreed timetable. Responsibilities for improvements for any areas affected under supervision and improvements in controls to avoid this in future
    * Consolidating Balance Sheets and P&L for multiple properties under IFRS 16



    What the client expects to see:

    * ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
    * Good communications skills
    * Experience in hospitality/real estate
    * Working knowledge of UK GAAP, Companies Act, Compliance and Governance



    What we expect to see:

    * Knowledge of IFRS 15/16
    * Sage experience
    * Expert level Excel skills
    * Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results efficiently



    Interviews ASAP - Must be able to start on the 2nd March

    Salary £450-500 per day
