    Commercial Finance Manager | SaaS Start-up | Central London

    The Company
    I am delighted to be working exclusively with a SaaS start-up based in the heart of London who operate within the Insurtech sector. The client already had an online platform before the launch of their SaaS service last year which they are expecting to grow considerably.
    The company have raised circa £7million so far and are in the process of securing another substantial amount in the immediate future. Currently they work with a number of financial service institutions within the UK, with the impending funding round designed to accelerate international expansion. With a passionate and ambitious team on-board, this is an extremely exciting time for the company as they expect to grow quickly over the next 6-9 months.

    The Role
    The successful candidate will have full ownership of the finance function, meaning a broad scope of duties. This role will be filled by someone who not only enjoys the start-up environment but also has a willingness to learn. The Commercial Finance Manager role is key to the development & growth of the company and integral to drive commercial performance across the business.

    Duties

    * Responsible for the month end and management accounting.
    * Management of budgeting, longer term forecasting and planning.
    * Provide insightful analysis to senior leadership teams throughout the business to facilitate improved decision making.
    * Build financial models for new product launches and financial strategies.
    * Produce and present investor decks and board reporting.
    * Liaise with VC investors.
    * Build and provide analysis on SaaS KPI's.
    * Provide business partner support during commercial contract negotiations.
    * Manage the outsourced bookkeeping function.

    What we need to see (Essential)

    * Fully Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
    * Commercially focussed
    * Handson approach
    * Good communication
    * Willingness to learn

    What we would like to see (Bonus)

    * Strong Xero experience
    * SaaS experience
    * Startup experience
    * Insurance / Insurtech experience

    Offered Package: £60,000 - £65,000 + Share options
