    Harmonic are working on behalf of a fast-growth FMCG businesses who are investing heavily in scaling their finance function. The business currently has a turnover of circa £150 million and are growing extremely quickly, having had a very busy start to 2020. They are well known for their non-corporate, down to earth culture which supports people both from a career and personal perspective.



    The company is still privately owned so retains a family like culture of support and openness. As a result of the open culture and flat structure you will be exposed to high level directors and trusted with important projects, all whilst working with some extremely impressive and entrepreneurial people.

This position is ideal for someone who is on an upward trajectory in their career as the business has a reputation for helping people pick up broad experience across the finance function.



    The Role



    This person will also have ownership of the finances for the property portfolio within the business and will split the remaining time in the week across supporting the Senior Finance Manager and Finance Director in the core running of the finance function and business partnering with stakeholders across the company.



    Duties



    * Preparation of month end financial reports
    * Responsible for the daily finance function for the property portfolio
    * Assisting the Finance Director with Year End Reporting and the annual audit.
    * Responsible for ensuring all rent is received across the property portfolio
    * Extensive process improvement and process automation work
    * Business Partner with Finance & Non-Finance stakeholders
    * Management of VAT Reporting
    * Responsible for bank reconciliations
    * Support the rest of the team with exciting projects



    What we need to see (essential)



    * AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualified or part qualified (will also consider QBE)
    * Excellent Communication & stakeholder engagement skills
    * Very intelligent and able to work in a fast-paced environment
    * Good IT skills



    What we would like to see (bonus)



    * Property experience (preferred and massively advantageous)
    * Experience using Xero/QuickBooks advantageous



    Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)



    Start date: ASAP
