    Harmonic are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a world-renowned Media & Entertainment business. They are looking for an M&A Analyst to join their dynamic M&A department.

    The Company

    The business is a global player in the TV & Film industry; they are responsible for producing and creating some of the most popular shows seen across the world. The company has a turnover of over £1 billion and is renowned for its non-corporate, fun and sociable working culture. Their M&A department is responsible for making acquisitions or investing in creative businesses within the TV, Film & Media sector.

    The Role

    As the M&A Analyst you will be joining a close-knit team of 3, providing the opportunity to have an influential role in the M&A deals of the business and to work closely with senior stakeholders. You will report directly into the Head of M&A, who has years of experience in the industry and a hands-on management style conducive to developing talent.

    You will be involved in the full cycle of the company's Mergers & Acquisitions, from start to end. You will be responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, mergers, partnerships or joint ventures. This will include analysis, negotiating terms, delivering on strategy and preparing investment papers.

    The Duties:

    Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

    * Working on all aspects of the full M&A cycle
    * Evaluating potential investment opportunities in the Entertainment industry
    * Financial deal modelling and investment analysis
    * Preparing and presenting investment proposals for senior stakeholders
    * Assist on managing existing investment portfolio

    What we need to see (essential):

    * Relevant investment deals or M&A experience
    * Great communication skills
    * Excellent attention to detail
    * Very strong Excel skills

    What we'd like to see (bonus):

    * Accounting Qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CFA)
    * Prior experience in M&A/Investments within Media, TV, Film or Music

    Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 plus discretionary bonus
