    Harmonic are excited to be recruiting an Interim Accounts Assistant for an SME based in Harlow with group offices also in Central London. The role can be undertaken on a fully remote basis although it would be desirabled if you live within commutable distance of Turnford, Essex.

    My client is to bring someone in an intially a 6 month contract to support AR and AP functions. Job duties will include:

    Purchase ledger -

    * Invoice Entry - (Circa 2000 per month) using Great Plains (experience of system not essential).

    Sales Ledger -

    * The allocation of bank payments to customer accounts
    * Bank reconciliations
    * Supplier statements
    * (Depending on experience) supporting the function with prepayments, accruals and fixed-asset journal postings



    To be considered for this role:

    Core requirements (essential)

    * 1.5 years+ experience of posting a large number of supplier invoices
    * Experience allocating bank transactions within a large business/sme
    * Prior experience of undertaking bank reconciliations
    * The ability to start working immediately

    What we'd like to see (desirable)

    * Prior experience of working through a contract through a third party umbrella company
    * The ability to commute to Turnford, Essex if required.
