Harmonic are working with a disruptive health technology brand who are experiencing incredible growth due to increasing demands with Covid-19.
The business has grown from 15 to 70 employees in less than 2 years and the turnover has trebled in size year on year for the last 3 years and grows 10% month on month. The business is backed by one of Europe's top VC firms and are soon to close another monumental fundraising round.
Based in Central London the business has retained their dynamic fast paced culture and are officially recognised as one of the best Start-Ups to work for in the country. Over 1/3 of the workforce has been promoted in the last 2 years and are filled with ambitious, incredibly smart people who enjoy having a good time while having a genuine impact on the direction and success of the company. To help sustain their expected growth the business are now looking to hire an entrepreneurial, ambitious Senior Finance Manager / Controller who is looking for an opportunity to drive growth, build out a robust infrastructure and take the accounts in-house.
The role
Reporting to the CEO this role will be responsible for running the day-to-day Finance function
The Financial Controller will be in time responsible for building a team around them, with expansion set to continue pipeline there is plenty of room for fast career progression.
Responsibilities:
* Produce accurate and timely monthly management account packs including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and additional KPIs
* Make continuous process improvements for the day to day finance operations
* Manage SaaS-based Accounts Receivables
* Define and measure quarterly and annual objectives, and develop a scalable budgeting process
* Business partner with the exec team and non-finance stakeholders providing them with month-end analysis and commentary
* Oversee statutory returns and other regulatory compliance
Required Experience
· Qualified Accountant with over 2 years' post qualified experience
· Start-Up/scaling technology business experience
· Excellent Communicator and able to work independently
· Entrepreneurial, ambitious and passionate about being part of a scale-up
Experience (Preferred)
· SaaS
· Technically strong with excellent commercial acumen
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + Options
Start Date: ASAP
