Financial Controller | Food Tech Scale-Up | London



Harmonic are delighted to be working with a hyper-growth food tech business on the hire of their first Financial Controller. Working closely with a brilliant CFO and VP of Finance, this person will be pivotal in ensuring that the financial controls and accounting are streamlined through continued growth both within the UK and internationally. Working in a super quirky office space in London, albeit with a lot of home working right now, they have a huge focus on company culture. This is echoed by incredible well-being policies and super fun socials (both in the office and from home). This business has grown 70% YoY and has raised over £20m+ in VC funding. They are quickly becoming a household name and are looking for a leader who wants to be part of rapid change, growth and transformation!



The role:

* Responsible for leading financial control, tax and risk across the business
* Streamlining the function and responsible for the ERP function
* Responsible for month-end close process and overseeing the production of management accounts
* Deliver the statutory reporting accounts
* Ownership of the external audit process
* Work closely with the senior management team on cost control and business partnering
* Ensure TAX compliance and ownership of employee share options
* Lead four team members and support with development



What we need to see:

* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* Audit experience
* Solid financial reporting and controls experience
* Great leadership skills and experience
* Excellent communicator



What we'd like to see:

* Experience in a food manufacturing business
* Experience in a fast-growth and changing environment



Offered Package:

* Up to £90,000 with share options
