Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with a high-growth music business who are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant.
The Company:
The business have become a global phenomenon, associated with some of the world's biggest superstars and ground breaking technological developments. The business is on a growth trajectory whereby they will continue to expand, thus opening several opportunities for future progression and development. The Financial Accountant role is a newly created role, that has arisen from this expansion.
The Role:
As the Financial Accountant you will be reporting into a talented Head of Finance with a successful track record of mentoring less experienced colleagues, the business are looking for an ambitious Newly Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or newly Qualified ACA with expereince auditing music and media clients, who can support the Head of Finance with the financial reporting and controls.
You will be responsible for working closely with the Head of Finance on implementing new processes and maintaining a robust financial controls environment. There is also scope that within a year this role will include more elements of FP&A.
Duties:
* Producing financial reports for some of the groups entities
* Implementing and documenting new processes
* Ensuring a robust financial controls environment
* Monitoring and managing financial data
* Involvement in leading projects and analysis
* Assisting the Finance Director with any ad-hoc tasks
What we need to see (essential):
* ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or finalist
* Advanced Excel skills
* Experience working on financial controls
What we'd like to see (bonus):
* Experience in the Music industry preferred
* Good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics
* Solid knowledge of SQL, Coding etc.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 plus discretionary bonus
