    Harmonic are working on behalf of a fast-growth Health & Wellness businesses who are investing heavily in restructuring their Finance function. The business currently has a turnover of circa £270 million and are seeking build out the finance team as the business continues to scale. They are well known for their non-corporate, down to earth culture which supports people both from a career and personal perspective.

    This role will take ownership for a group subsidiary of the business and oversee the full company accounts for this section as well as part of the accounts receivable and credit control for the wider business.



    The Role



    The Company Accountant is responsible for supporting the Finance Director in completing accounts for the following:



    * Responsible for looking after small subsidiary entity accounts: undertaking daily accounting entries, closing month end, and ensuring year end accounts meet with annual audit requirements.
    * Checking receivables in a timely manner across the subsidiary company portfolio
    * Ensure bank reconciliations that receipts, and payments are recorded accurately
    * Helping to ensure compliance is met
    * Processing payments in a timely manner
    * Submitting VAT returns within deadlines
    * Liaising with the auditor to ensure an efficient audit process is achieved.
    * Credit control including the issue of customer statements, allocating cash receipts, and chasing overdue debt
    * Regularly review aged debtors



    What you need (essential):



    * Xero experience or experience with similar systems like Sage / QuickBooks would be advantageous
    * AAT Qualified or CIMA / ACCA studier (part qualified)
    * At least 3 years' experience in a finance role
    * Excellent Communication & stakeholder engagement skills
    * Very intelligent and able to work in a changing environment
    * Good IT skills





    Additional Skills (bonus):

    * FMCG experience / experience within an E-commerce business or product based company



    Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
