    The Client

    Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with an incredibly exciting Software as a Service (SaaS) business based in West London. They are scaling quickly with Turnover increasing from £20m to £30m in the last 12 months following significant investment and acquisition by a leading Private Equity firm.

    2021 is an exciting time for the business with headcount set to increase by around 60 (33% increase), ambitious revenue growth is forecasted, and they have plans for new market and product launches to continue to drive growth.

    Currently the team is working from home and there will be continued flexibility moving forward although a few days a week will be required (post Covid)

    The Role

    Supporting a brilliant Financial Controller and Management Accountant this is a chance for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to own day-to-day Finance (Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Bank Reconciliations) while also getting heavily involved in significant process improvement and system implementation projects (they have just rolled out NetSuite). There will also be plenty of exposure to the Sales teams providing Business Partner support and ad-hoc sales analysis.

    With the growth planned over the next couple of years the Finance team will be integral and offer a lot of opportunity to progress your career quickly.

    * Manage the day-to-day Finance Operations side of the business (owning Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll)
    * Ensure invoices are coded correctly on NetSuite
    * Support the Group Financial Controller with cash flow forecasting
    * Work with the credit controller to assist with billing queries
    * Continuously improve processes and strive to automate and find efficiency gains where possible (NetSuite)
    * Manage Payroll and Expense management
    * Manage Bank Account and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
    * Work closely with Sales teams to ensure effective customer onboarding from a Finance perspective
    * Provide financial reporting and variance analysis to senior management in the Sales team
    * Increasingly support the Management Accountant with month-end (accruals, prepayments, posting adjustments etc)
    * Assist with Year-End reporting
    * Work with the wider Finance team on multiple ad-hoc projects

    Required Experience:

    * Previous Experience managing Purchase and Sales Ledger (Accounts Payable and Receivable)
    * Curious, Proactive, and keen to solve problems
    * Excellent Communication Skills
    * Excellent Organisational skills
    * Real desire to learn and progress quickly

    Preferred Backgrounds/ experience:

    * Part Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or AAT Qualified)
    * Experience working with NetSuite
    * Experience in Software or Software as a Service Business (SaaS)
    * Demonstratable experience of 'going above and beyond' and improving processes
    * Experience in a start-up or scale-up (ideally Private Equity or Venture Capital Backed)
    * Experience getting stuck into wider operational projects and process improvement

    Offered Package:
