VP of FP&A| Global Music Business | London

The Business:
With a strong international presence, this multi-faceted company has grown from strength to strength over the last decade. Our client is involved in music recording, licensing, films and books, and is looking to keep expanding their team. Due to the nature of the organisation, the role offers fantastic exposure to different parts of the business, with room for development and future progression.
Over the last ten years, our client has experienced impressive growth, with revenue for the business exceeding £100 million and a large international presence. Based in London, the role offers a modern, flexible approach to hybrid working, in a modern office space. There is an emphasis on collaboration in the working culture, which originates from a strong cultural ethos derived from senior level management.
The Role:
In an established and strong team reporting into a fantastic CFO, this is a broad role which involves leading the FP&A team, supporting growth strategies, annual budgeting and business partnering with the company's wider supply chain. This role, that supports hybrid working, is based in an exciting and modern office space in London with a collaborative and non corporate culture in place throughout the entire business.
The client is looking for someone to have real influence on the future growth of the business and is a role that is ideally suited for candidates with a strong, proactive, 'can-do' attitude that enjoy working in fast paced working environments.
Duties:
The main duties will include:
- Act as main representative in the recording arm of the business involved in supporting growth strategies
- Lead on strategic planning and modelling, develop rolling forecasts, annual budgets, financial planning and investment cases
- On-going tracking of actuals versus forecasts and performance analysis always promoting data driven decisions
- Business partner with internal investment teams on various investment models and business cases.
- Leading and delivering corporate restructuring projects, acquisition and integration of company acquisitions.
- Adopt and implement continuous improvement mindset for the department and wider finance function
- Ad-hoc projects to support the CFO
What we need to see (essential):
- Strong communication skills and background in FP&A
- Music industry experience
- ACCA / CIMA / ACA Qualified
What we need to see (beneficial):
- Previous experience in the recorded music industry
Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 + bonus
