The firm has recently closed a series A fundraising campaign with the selection of top-tier VC funds totaling over $120 million. This funding is earmarked to fuel rapid growth, with plans to double the workforce and expand internationally in 2024. Additionally, the firm is forecasting to achieve a remarkable revenue increase of 200%.

The Role:
As the VP of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and leading the finance team. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping financial forecasting, budgeting processes, and partnering with various internal stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
In this dynamic start-up environment, you will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on financial modeling and process development. Additionally, the position offers significant exposure and the opportunity to build relationships with the CEO and CFO. This position is ideal for someone passionate about process enhancement, attention to detail, and strategic leadership, offering significant exposure and influence.
With the company's rapid growth trajectory, there is ample room for advancement into Director of Finance positions as the finance function expands.
Responsibilities:
- Drive international expansion strategy supporting product launches and market entry
- Spearhead end-to-end Forecasting, Planning, and Analysis (FP&A) processes.
- Collaborate with the executive team on financial modeling for future funding rounds.
- Establish insightful analysis and performance-driven KPIs.
- Cultivate relationships with senior stakeholders, board members, and investors.
- Analyze actual financial performance and present findings to the leadership team.
- Collaborate with key departments to formulate cost budgets and conduct actual vs. budget analysis.
- Lead commercial assessments of critical contracts and negotiate with partners and suppliers.
- Generate consolidated FP&A reports spanning multiple projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to enhance accountability and budget management.
- Undertake extensive ad-hoc projects to drive growth and efficiency.
What We Need:
- Exceptional FP&A and Financial Analysis skills.
- Experience in building out finance and supporting teams
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at a senior level.
- Proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
What We'd Love to See (Non-essential):
- Prior experience in a high-growth scale-up or start-up environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Background in a Tech business or Tech start-up (Cleantech or Green Energy start-up experience preferred).
- Experience in Investment Banking or an MBA qualification.
Salary: $225,000 - $300,000 + Bonus + Equity
