Vice President of Finance (No.1 in Finance) | VC-Backed Hospitality Group | NYC

Our client is a VC-Backed hospitality group that are growing incredibly quickly and looking for a highly commercial Vice President of Finance to join the leadership team.

Backed by some of the most renowned VC firms in hospitality, this disruptive business have incredible plans for expansion over the next 12 months as they look to scale from 40 - 70 locations and take considerable market share from the big-hitters in their space. They're looking for a strategic and commercially astute VP Finance that can deliver insights into financial performance and impact change.

This business is renowned for their inclusive and entrepreneurial culture where staff are well supported yet encouraged to work with autonomy and bring a lot of ideas to the table. They are very passionate about what they do and are looking for 'the best and brightest' who share their enthusiasm for all things bars and restaurants.

The Role:

This position is heavily focused on FP&A and strategy. You will report directly into the CEO and will be fully responsible for building out a best-in-class finance function. This position will suit someone that is an expert in hospitality and has been with a businesses through significant period of growth.

Responsibilities:

• Developing a high performing Finance function.
• Extensive liaising with stakeholders and providing commercial data and insight to support internal departments.
• In depth analysis of company performance, including mapping key KPI's and metrics to help identify areas of opportunity.
• Responsible for all financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities across multiple locations.
• Developing and maintaining financial models to bring clarity to financial data for multiple areas of the business.
• Business partnering with operations, marketing, HR, and sales teams to improve internal reporting processes
• Liaising with external stakeholders including producing board packs and supporting future fundraising activity
• Ad hoc strategy projects

What you need (Essential)

• 7+ years in Finance
• Experience working within a growing multi-site hospitality group
• Experience leading and building out an finance function
• Acute eye for detail and high working standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication

What we'd like to see (Bonus)

• Previous experience working for a VC-Backed hospitality group
• Previous experience with multiple new location openings

Location: New York (Hybrid)

Salary: $200,000 - $225,000 + Bonus
