VP Finance Operations | Fast-Growth FoodTech | Fully Remote

Harmonic are proud to be working with a fast-growth FoodTech business on the East-Coast that are looking for a VP Finance Operations to join their team.

This impressive business combines their passion for technology and food to help some of most exciting emerging restaurant chains to integrate their software and streamline their internal processes for finance accounting and inventory management. They have an impressive list of clients that include, DigInn, ShellShack, Sticky's, PLNT burger & NAYA with plans to continue to scale with well-known brands across the East Coast.

This role is perfect for someone that is passionate about the restaurant industry, likes to problem solve, create new strategies, and takes an interest in supporting growing businesses. The Role

This position will be an integral part of the leadership team and report directly to the CEO and COO. You will have the opportunity to manage and develop the full finance function and improve their ability to service their clients and improve their internal processes with the use of technology.

This role will suit someone who is passionate about using technology to streamline accounting processes and has a track record of using systems to automate these.

Responsibilities

· Build and develop a team of Senior Accounting Managers to provide best-in-class consultation and accounting services to mid-sized restaurant groups

· Support the CEO and COO with developing and executing the long-term growth objectives

· Help clients to streamline and automate processes in Restaurant 365

· Train, develop and lead the finance and accounting team

· Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes

· Ensure compliance with external financial reporting in accordance to US GAAP

· Partner with the leadership team to provide financial insights, assess business performance

· Continually look for ways to improve the businesses and internal processes

· Partner with the restaurants to add value and have an impact on their business

What you need:

· 10+ years' experience in Finance and Accounting

· 5+ years accounting experience in the restaurant industry

· Strong knowledge of Restaurant 365

· Track record of automating internal accounting processes

· Passion for working with new technology and systems

What we'd like to see

· Experience in a finance leadership role

· Previous experience in consulting or a client facing position

Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 + Bonus
