Traffic Manager - SME Full-Service Agency - London 40k-45k

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a fast-paced, full service creative marketing agency who are looking to hire a Traffic Manager. The agency is looking for a bright, engaging, and ambitious individual to work directly with the CEO.

The role offers fantastic diversity and exposure, it's a multi-faceted position where you'll look after Resource & Traffic & Resource management (approximately 70%) and operations support (30%). The agency is looking for candidates with between 2-4 years in a similar role who are excited by the prospect of joining an exceptionally close-knit, fast growth agency.

This new role requires someone who is very organised, has sharp attention to detail and who understands the balance of needs between creative and commercial teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning - Ensure that projects are planned in advance, you'll have an overview of timelines, work with Client Services teams and hold them accountable for accurate forward planning of revenue releases and costs
  • Utilisation management - You will run daily stand-ups and review project tasks, resources and timelines. You'll ensure that staff in the business are meeting their utilisation goals, adjusting and notifying the rest of the business when there is capacity in the teams.
  • Resource management, managing the internal studio resources including designers, copywriters and videographers in ensuring agency works are planned daily. You'll also identify specialist external resources as required
  • Business strategy - Work with the leadership team to truly understand our business, understand industry shifts, client requirements and agency resources to suggest and help evolve our proposition, and advise and implement strategic changes around processes, products, and people throughout the agency.
  • Client P&L ownership - You'll be responsible for managing and holding Client Service teams accountable for revenue releases and budgets of all works in the agency
  • Financial management and support - Own agency rate cards, and advise on future hires and team structures. Own and manage general business costs such as suppliers, and support finance with the management of general business overheads.
  • Software/hardware management - Own and track all the software/hardware and subscription costs in the business. Includes but not limited to managing IT suppliers, internet, computers, printer, as well as tools such as Adobe CS, Microsoft 365, etc.
  • Project costing/scoping - Creating accurate project scopes and quotes to support new business opportunities.

Key Skills

● Experience of managing a workflow within an agency environment

● Ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal teams and have a strong commercial mindset to drive and increase efficiency.

● Excellent reporting skills with the ability to evaluate workflows

● A proactive, flexible & energetic team player

● Have the ability to manage conflicting opinions and challenge where necessary

● In such a fast paced environment you must be intuitive, able to lead and have the ability to think on your feet and introduce new ideas

● Experience of using relevant Project Management, Traffic, Scheduling systems
