The Client

Harmonic are thrilled to be partnering with NYC's fastest growing PR agency in their search for a Senior Vice President of Client Finance to lead their Client Finance function.

The agency specializes in helping brands and organizations engage with audiences in a more targeted and impactful way. Their fast pace and diverse client base creates an exciting environment for a finance leader with a passion for communications. With a growing team including storytellers and strategists, the company is leading the evolution of communications. It's expertise spans a wide range of industries, such as consumer goods, tech, sustainability, education, philanthropy, real estate, travel, hospitality, and the arts.

The Role

We're looking for someone to guide the development of their expanding operations and drive business growth. This individual will play a crucial role as a key business partner, working closely with practice leaders to support business expansion, deliver strategic guidance, offer financial insights, and ensure compliance with business processes while helping practices achieve their financial objectives.

• Oversee and manage the Client finance team.
• Lead forecasting, financial planning, and develop solutions for each business unit.
• Collaborate with the controller to manage the month-end closing process and ensure practice budgets are accurate.
• Assist in creating improved processes to shorten closing timelines while maintaining accuracy and delivering optimal reports.
• Conduct financial modeling to support better decision-making.
• Help create reporting systems, streamline processes, and implement best practices.
• Spearhead process and system enhancements, including the launch of new timesheet reporting and business intelligence tools.
• Create, update, and share ad-hoc reports and financial models with business leaders.
• Support overall practice and firm-wide management initiatives.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or another related field.
• Experience with creative Industries (PR, Marketing, Advertising, etc.)
• Passionate about creative campaigns and marketing initiatives
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent communicator
• Leader with a growth mindset!

Non-essential (Bonus skills)

• CPA or CFA certification
• NetSuite

Salary: $200,000-$250,000 + bonus + benefits

Start Date: ASAP

Location: New York City (hybrid model)
