Senior Management Accountant | Trailblazing Architecture Business | London / Hybrid

The Role

The business is looking for a qualified Senior Management Accountant who will assist with system implementation, and financial reporting across the business. The finance team works very closely and collaboratively, and you will be reporting into the Head of Finance, an excellent business mentor.

This role will allow you to get fully involved in the finances of the businesses, while also partnering with different teams such as operations, sales, and design. You will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, providing variance analysis, and contributing to annual budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and support with monthly management accounts and statutory accounts
  • Conduct variance analysis and communicate results to stakeholders
  • Identify errors and implement improvements to financial systems
  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage accruals & prepayments
  • Finance business partner and provide support and insights to teams
  • Effectively communicate financial report analysis to leadership teams
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis tailored to address business requirements
  • Contributing to the delivery of revenue budget and forecast
  • Play a key part in year-end audit and WIP valuation
  • Work with the transaction team on escalation queries
  • Assist with the improvement of top-quality management information
  • Foster an inclusive learning environment and assist with the development of junior team members

What we need to see

  • Qualified accountant
  • 3+ years PQE
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experience in a professional services business

What we'd like to see

  • Previous use of D365 Dynamics and Power BI systems
  • Experience in an architecture practice, interior design studio, or construction business
  • International and multi-currency experience

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + benefits

Start Date: ASAP (1 month max)

Location: London

Hybrid/Remote: 3 days per week in-office
