Senior Management Accountant - Rapidly-Growing Creative Agency - London

Harmonic are delighted to be working alongside a fast-growing Creative Agency, helping with their search for a Management Accountant to join their team out of their offices based in the heart of London.

The company is currently entering an exciting phase of growth , and are establishing themselves as one of the most well renowned names within the industry in the next 2 years. Your role as Management Accountant will be crucial in ensuring the growth and of this agency, and will support the Finance Director in building out a best of class financial infrastructure.

The opportunity brings with it huge potential for personal development, exposure, and experience. You can expect to progress into a Finance Manager within the next 12 months, and will continue to work as an integral part of a company that is thriving., . You will report directly to the Finance Director and will be joining a team of 6 within the department.

Responsibilities

• Focus on preparing monthly management accounts
• Analyse financial information to assist business growth and profitability
• General accounting during the month, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end
• Calculate and input accruals and repayments
• Review, approve and complete balance sheet account reconciliations
• Review trial balances
• Review accounting processes / practices and improve to ensure efficient financial operations
• Prepare journals for input by the Operational Finance team
• Approve journal entries
• Perform accounting for costs of the central functions
• Internal & External audit
• Manage capital expenditure
• Deliver improvements highlighted by internal or external audit teams
• Assessment of monthly expenses
• Responsibility for preparing and monitoring of KPIs to monitor future performance
• Variance analysis

Essential skills

• Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• A good level of communication, as you'll be working closely with the FD
• Proficient in Excel
• Strong analytical skills & a high attention to detail

Desirable skills

• Prior experience working in a creative agency
• Experience working in an SME

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + excellent benefit package
