The Client

Harmonic are proud to be working with a market-leading PE-backed SaaS business looking for an ambitious and commercially astute Senior Finance Analyst to join their accounting team.

The business is reaping the benefits of being early entrants into one of the of the fastest growing markets in the US. In the past 6 months they have doubled their headcount to 100 people and doubled their revenue.

The Role

The Senior Finance Analyst will work closely with the Director of FP&A and play an integral role in building out the finance function. Initially the role will have some focus on building the processes for management accounts and month ends, however, will continually support on the commercial side such as business partnering with stakeholders across different functions, forecasting, budgeting, and other exciting ad hoc projects.

Duties

· Support all financial planning and forecasting across the P&L

· Analyze, track and report on company financials in line with company objectives

· In depth analysis of company performance, including identifying key KPI's and metrics

· Work closely with the FP&A director to adjust annual and monthly budgets

· Implement ways of extracting and analyzing operational information

· Analyze costs, lead times and inventory management

· Developing, maintaining, and improving financial models for analysis

· Business partnering with operations and sales teams to improve internal reporting processes and give commercial insight

· Ad hoc projects with FP&A team

What you need

· Bachelor's degree in finance or similar subject

· 2+ years' experience working in FP+A or finance related role

· Strong financial modelling ability

· Sophisticated proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 + Bonus

Location: Boston (Hybrid)
