Senior Finance Manager | Hyper Growth SaaS Start-Up | Series B

We are delighted to be working with one of Europe's fastest growing and most exciting B2B SaaS (Software as a Service) start-ups that have built the tech to revolutionise marketing and drive revenue growth for some of the world's biggest brands.

Having just closed a Series B fundraise of almost $35m, led by one of the globe's most reputable Venture Capital funds, they are now expanding internationally into the US from their London HQ, opening new product lines and looking to bring in a high calibre Senior Finance Manager to bolster their finance team.

Now working with over 500 recognisable brands and counting and on track to double revenue again this year to £16m ARR, as well as double headcount to over 180, they're changing the world of marketing.

The role

They are now looking for a talented Senior Finance Manager, reporting directly to a highly experienced Head of Finance, to join the team as the company heads into its next phase of growth. As Senior Finance Manager you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of day-to-day operational activities across the finance function, from financial reporting operations, improving financial processes and systems, month-end, KPI analysis and budgeting/forecasting. Operating in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise to build and reshape the function with an incredible career path set out.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting operations
  • Continuously review and improve and streamline processes and systems
  • Responsible for managing the year-end accounts and audit process alongside the Head of Finance
  • Support the CFO and Head of Finance with strategic decision making, including the development of relevant Objectives and Key Results
  • Ensuring transactions are compliant with up-to-date VAT rules and that VAT submissions are made within deadlines
  • Provide strategic support on future fundraising events
  • Oversee the Accounts Assistant to ensure the accurate delivery of Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Extensive ad-hoc projects to support the business as they grow and as the finance function expands

What we need to see (essential)

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Enthusiastic and excited about working in a fast-growth start-up environment, particularly in the SaaS sector
  • Experience in a fast growth tech scale-up or start-up
  • Have an understanding of US financial reporting
  • Incredibly ambitious with a strong desire to continue developing their skillset
  • Excellent communication skills and technically very strong
  • A willingness to "roll your sleeves up" and get stuck in across finance

Salary: Up to £65,000 - £75,000 + share options
