The Role
As the business expands internationally, the Senior Accounting Manager will play a key role in supporting global operations and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
This newly created role, based in New York City, will oversee international accounting processes, support global financial reporting, and collaborate with local and HQ teams to maintain high standards in tax, compliance, and internal controls. It's a hands-on, impactful opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes for international entities
- Oversee monthly reporting and support consolidated financial statements under US GAAP
- Ensure compliance with local statutory accounting and tax requirements
- Review reconciliations and prepare detailed balance sheet analysis across global operations
- Manage VAT/GST compliance and transfer pricing documentation in partnership with advisors
- Coordinate external audits for both group and local statutory purposes
- Monitor changes in international accounting standards and local regulations
- Partner with FP&A, US Accounting, and international stakeholders
What We Need to See (Essential)
- CPA or equivalent international accounting certification
- Proven NetSuite expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 5-8 years of accounting experience with international exposure
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP standards
- Experience with multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally

- Experience in global consumer-facing industries such as CPG, beauty, food & beverage, or wellness
- Proven success within high-growth, entrepreneurial, or scaling environments
- Background working in a private equity-backed organization
- Exposure to international tax compliance and transfer pricing strategy
- Foundation in public accounting, with strong technical and regulatory knowledge
Package: $160,000 - $190,000
