The Client

Harmonic are proud to be working with one of Boston's most promising SaaS startups. This business is developing cutting-edge AI technology with the aim of changing the world we live in.

This innovative business has secured over $50million to date and are planning to raise additional funds in Q2 of this year. Now is an excellent time to join the team and help them achieve the ambitious goals they have for the next few years.

The business is defiantly non-corporate, and the senior leadership team are renowned for their supportive approach to training and development. The business is based in a lively part of Central Boston, that is home to several exciting tech startups. Initially the position will be remote although the business is keen to get back to their impressive office space in the near future.

The Role

This role will be reporting into the CFO and will be an integral part of the finance function. This role will suit an ambitious individual with a keen eye for detail that wants to work in a fast-paced environment and gain exposure to commercial finance.

Duties

• Oversee payroll and staff accounting duties
• Group reconciliations for multiple divisions
• Management or the AP/AR function
• Manage the full month-end process and ensure that deadlines are met
• Production of management accounts and account analysis
• Support the CFO with external audit preparation
• Ad hoc project support

What you need

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years experience in a SaaS business
• Strong accounting regulation knowledge
• Excellent communication skills

What we'd like to see

• CPA license
• Experience using Netsuite
• Start- up experience

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000

Location: Boston

Start date: ASAP
