Senior Accountant | Series B Green Energy Start-Up | Fully Remote
Harmonic are proud to be working with a fast-growth Green Energy Storage company based in Cambridge, MA that are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team.

The Role
The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of the finance team and will work very closely with the Director of Finance to manage the accounting processes. This role will suit an ambitious individual with a keen eye for detail that wants to work in a fast-paced environment and gain exposure to commercial finance.
Responsibilities
· Manage the company's accounting function
· Own the monthly/quarterly closing process and preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
· Review and ensure the accuracy of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
· Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
· Partner with the leadership team to provide financial insights, assess business performance
· Review tax processes and make suggestions of how to improve accordingly
· Respond to any inquiries from external auditors to better the business
· Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies and procedures
· Partner with other departments to provide financial analysis and support
What you need:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or similar
· 3+ years' experience in a general accounting function
· Previous experience in either Energy Storage, Renewable/Green Energy, Medical Devices or Biotech
· Excellent communication skills
· Acute eye for detail and high working standards
What we'd like to see
· CPA
· Experience using either Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Adaptive Insights or PowerBI
· Knowledge of IFRS financial reporting requirements
· Experience with Grants and RED
Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 + Bonus + Equity
Location: Fully Remote (Located in Massachusetts - Highly Preferable)
