Harmonic are proud to be working with a fast-growth SaaS Startup that are looking for a knowledgeable and ambitious Senior Accountant to join their best in-class finance team.

The Role

This role will be reporting into the Controller and will be an integral part of the finance function. This role will suit an ambitious individual with a keen eye for detail that wants to work in a fast-paced environment and gain exposure to commercial finance.

Duties

· Assist with month end close processes and ensure compliance with US GAAP

· Support continued development of best practices in a SOX control environment

· Support with the management of the Accounts Payable processes

· Implement and review new accounting processes where necessary

· Production of management accounts and account analysis

· Support with quarterly reviews and annual audit process

· Streamline current processes for maximum efficiencies in the accounting process

· Ad hoc project support to both Finance and Accounting functions

What you need

· A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance, or related field)

· 2+ years of experience in a general accounting function

· Self-starter who independently drives projects to completion

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills including comfort interacting with senior level executives

· Excellent knowledge of US GAAP

· Incredibly ambitious with a desire to continue to learn

What we'd like to see

· CPA license

· Passion for technology and working in a fast-paced environment

· Experience working in a scaling tech business

· Startup experience

· Previous experience in Big 4 public accounting

· Experience using NetSuite

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 + Bonus + Equity

Location: Boston (Hybrid)

Start date: ASAP
