Harmonic Finance are proud to be working with one of Boston's fastest growing FinTech start-ups that are looking for a Senior Accountant to help scale their team!

This disruptor's chief goal is to aid small e-commerce brands and supply them the instruments and support they need to build up their online stores and grow a thriving business.

This exciting business has raised over $100M to date involving some of the most prestigious VC firms in the States. The ground-breaking FinTech has experienced rapid growth in 2021 and are looking for a great team player to come and help them achieve the ambitious goals they have for the next few years!

The business is non-corporate, and the senior leadership team are renowned for their supportive approach to training and development. The start-up is based in a lively part of Central Boston and has a vibrant workspace full of motivated and enthusiastic people. The Role

The role will be reporting into the Chief Financial Officer and will be an integral part of the finance function. The role will suit an ambitious individual with a keen eye for detail. You will be encouraged to have significant impact in one of the States' most exciting start-ups and be expected to look at new ways of doing things.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff accounting duties and payroll
• Group reconciliations for multiple divisions
• Management of the AP/AR function
• Support the full month-end process and ensure that deadlines are met
• Work with FP&A team to perform variance analysis
• Support the CFO with external audit preparation
• Ad hoc project support

What we need to see (Essential)

• Bachelor's degree
• Strong communication skills
• Ambitious with a desire to continue to learn
• Enjoys working in an exceptionally fast-paced environment
• Experience working with Accounting systems

What we'd like to see

• Experience in a fast-growth scale-up or start-up
• CPA license

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 + Bonus
