SEC Reporting Manager | Pre-IPO SaaS

Harmonic are proud to be working with a PE-backed SaaS business looking for an SEC Reporting Manager. To date the business has raised over $250m and has scaled to be one of the leading B2B SaaS organisations, working with some of the world's best-known brands.

The business boasts over 700 employees across 10+ office spaces around the world including New York, Sydney, London and Singapore to name a few. Despite their impressive size they have managed to maintain their non-corporate culture and entrepreneurial ethos.

They are very passionate about what they do and are looking for 'the best and brightest' who share their enthusiasm for SaaS and cutting-edge technology to join their organization.

The Role

This is a newly created role in the business and will be an integral part of the finance team as this business prepares for IPO. You will be responsible for overseeing all quarterly financial statements, technical accounting matters and will be expected to have extensive liaison with the external SEC reporting team.

  • Preparation of internal and external financial statements
  • Preparation of SEC reporting documents (10-Q, 10-K)
  • Develop the SEC and technical accounting function from the ground up
  • Play a key role in Month/quarterly end close process
  • Assist with research on technical accounting papers
  • Oversee internal controls for all reporting and ensure accuracy
  • Ensure all accounting policies are in line with US GAAP and SEC compliance
  • Evaluate accounting policies and implement new accounting standards
  • Liaise extensively with outsourced SEC support

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • CPA required
  • 6+ years in accounting experience
  • Previous experience working in a public company
  • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting
  • Experience in leading and building out a finance function
  • Acute eye for detail and high working standards

What we'd like to see

  • Previous experience working for SaaS public companies and Scaleups
  • IPO experience
  • Experience managing a remote team
  • Extensive systems knowledge especially Salesforce, Netsuite and Hyperion

Location: New York - Flexible working

Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 + Equity + Bonus
