Harmonic are delighted to be working alongside one of the most exciting and fast growth Independent Record Labels in London in the search for a Royalties Manager to join their growing team.

The Business:

Founded by a fantastic collection of music industry professionals with over 30 years in the space, our client are a fantastic, values led independent record label that are proud to have retained the tight knit culture in place since inception. With a mission to give their artists complete control and allow access to as wider audience as possible, our client truly have their artists best interest at heart. Home to an eclectic mix of genres from punk, pop and beyond, our client also work closely with various different charities and groups to raise awareness of issues such as climate activism.

Based in a collaborative office space in London, the team have retained a tight knit, family feel to the organisation since inception. With socials and exciting gigs regularly attended by the whole team, this is perfect for candidates that want to really feel part of a team.

The Role:

As the Royalty Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of royalty functions for both the recording and publishing companies. Reporting into a Head of Finance who is extremely keen for this role to develop in line with the businesses growth, this opportunity will involve a varied mixture of responsibilities, while also gaining exposure to more senior level duties further down the line.

Duties:

  • Generating royalties statements
  • Maintenance and setup of new release and tracks
  • Handling royalty error reports, reconciliations and correcting adjustments
  • Setup of contracts into royalties system
  • Managing statement accounts
  • Provide analysis of sales date / trends for general management information

What we need to see (essential):

  • 12 months or royalties experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in fast paced, exciting environments
  • Good communication skills and enjoys working in a team

What we need to see (bonus):

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

    Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + industry perks
