Production Accountant | TV & Film Industry | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a global Media & Entertainment company, who are recruiting for a Production Accountant on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with the strong possibility of being extended for another 12 months.

The Company

The business is a major organisation in the Television & Film industry. They are a global company with major footholds across the world. They are behind the distribution, creation and production of some our most loved TV shows. Based in central London, the culture is renowned for being sociable, non-corporate and dynamic.

The Role

As the Production Accountant you will report directly into the Head of Production Finance. You will be responsible for covering 1 or 2 large scale productions and will oversee the budget preparation, production expenditure and monthly cost reports. As well as this you will manage and develop a Finance Assistant who will support on the transactional duties.

The Duties:

Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Producing monthly cost report package including variances.
• Preparing the budget and reviewing final budget.
• Monitoring monthly overhead cashflow
• Controlling all production expenditure
• Overseeing invoices, expenses and petty cash
• Managing a Finance Assistant.
• Ad-hoc duties to support the Head of Production Finance

What we need to see (essential):

• Experience in TV or Film industry in a Production Accountant role
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills.

What we'd like to see (bonus):

• Working knowledge of SAP.
• TV Production Accounting experience preferable.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
