Interim Production Accountant (9 months) | Film & TV Production Business| London
The Client
Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working exclusively with a high-growth Film Production business to support them in their search for an Interim Production Accountant for a period of 9 months.
Having received VC backing, our client is building out their Production pipeline after contracting with the likes of Apple TV & Amazon Prime Video. In anticipation of their growth in the New Year, they are looking to hire an interim Production Accountant to support their upcoming projects.
Operating from Central London, this Film Production business offers hybrid working, with a preference for 3 days in the office per week as you work alongside up to 30 people in the Production team.
The Role
As Production Accountant, you will provide financial guidance across the business on project budgets and cash-flow projects, alongside producing financial reports, performing credit control, and accounting reconciliations. You shall be the point of contact between the project delivery and finance teams as you share updates at a senior level. You will have some Production Accountant experience and be ready to get stuck in at this exciting and growing studio.
Responsibilities:
- Handling cashflows on a project basis
- Tracking production schedules and hires
- Reviewing artist allocations to projects and assisting with resulting journals
- Reporting to management and clients on a regular basis
- Handling monthly actuals and forecasts
- Issuing sales invoices to clients based on cashflow and milestone delivery
Essential:
- Production Accountant experience, ideally within post-production
- A passion for all things film and TV!
Salary: £250-£350 (Outside IR35)
Location: London (Hybrid)
