Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working on a exclusive basis with one of the fastest growing educational technology businesses , in their search for a Payroll Administartor with 1+ years of international experience in a similar role. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing global Edtech organisation on their journey in the UK and overseas.

In this position, you will be a pivotal in a lean cross departmental finance and HR management team aiding to the success of the organisation. Working closely with the Payroll Manager, CFO and HR Leads forming payroll and helping collegues with payroll quieries, you will have a huge impact on the way the organisation is run day to day.

The role is based in Central London with a hybrid working approach but looking for somebody to buy into their exciting cultutre 3 days a week with progression opportunity for high performers and opportunities to work abroad in one of the many global offices.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the timely and accurate delivery of payroll related reporting for several UK companies on a monthly basis;
  • Initiate and implement continuous improvements related to payroll processes;
  • Implement changes to the payroll related to secondary benefits such as pension, health insurance and other mandatory regulations;
  • Process, prepare and submit changes in the payroll (e.g. new starters, leavers, salary increases, statutory maternity pay, bonuses and timesheets);
  • Process, prepare and submit net wages, taxes and social fees;
  • Liasing with (international) staff and managers to resolve queries;
  • Prepare and upload payroll journals into Coda Financials system;
  • Assist in ad hoc tasks and various projects (e.g. implementation new payroll software);
  • Travels on occassional base.

Essential Skills/Competencies:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Finance or related areas;
  • 1+ years of relevant working experience in UK Payroll;
  • Strong analytical and English communication skills;
  • Discrete communicator with an eye for details and deadlines;
  • Self-starting and pro-active, positive attitude;
  • Proven creative mindset and a passion for change;
  • Responsible and committed to work together with team members;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and MS Office is a plus;
  • International experience (travel, education, working) is a plus.

Location: London (hybrid 3 days at the office)

Salary: £30-£35k (depending on experience)
