Harmonic are delighted to be working alongside a luxury interior design studio in their search for a part-time Finance & Studio Manager to join their expanding team. With projects featured in Vogue and House of Garden, they collaborate with high-profile clients across the globe in the UK, Europe, and US. This is a very exciting time to join the business who have a strong SME feel alongside an impressive growth trajectory.
The Role
This studio is looking for a vibrant and dynamic finance and studio manager to support several projects. Not only will they oversee all of the businesses finances, they will also collaborate with the operations team to ensure that the office and events run smoothly. This is a fantastic part time opportunity for a driven team player looking to make a great impact on a top business in the interior design space.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Generate invoices and maintain debtor reports
- Production of monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Provide regular financial updates and insights to directors
- Managing project finances including assessing profitability and monitoring budgets and timescales to ensure client expectations are met
- Admin duties including facilities management and booking travel & meeting rooms
- Support the Director on various HR responsibilities including recruitment and onboarding
- Be a driving force for the company culture and actively maintain a professional atmosphere
What we need to see:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong accounting systems experience (Sage 50 or similar)
- Experience working in a project-focused environment (marketing, architecture, interior design, construction, media)
- Strong excel skills
- A genuine interest in interiors and design
What we'd like to see:
- Experience working in a design studio
- Team management experience
- 5+ years experience in a finance role
Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 (for 3 days work)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: London
Part time: 3 days per week (flexible)
