Management Accountant - Rapidly Growing Media Agency

Harmonic are proud to be working with an internationally renowned design agency based in Central London. Due to exceptional growth they are investing in build out their finance function.

Reporting into the Finance Director and working closely with the Founder, you will oversee two small agencies and a retail business. You will sit within a team of 5 and will work in one of the most dynamic successful agencies in the UK. The agency works across design, retail and creative. They are over 150 people headcount and £35mill t/o.

The role itself will strike an excellent balance of ownership of management accounts, getting your hands dirty whilst also taking on a number of commercial duties, offering progression within a 12-24 month timeframe to Finance Manager. The agency only require 2 days a week in the office.

The Role:

• Run the management accounts process end-to-end monthly for the group (three small entities)
• Reconcile, defer & recognise income & costs for projects/clients on a monthly basis
• Reconcile costs for projects/clients on a monthly basis
• Update & reconcile reports each month, raising or releasing accruals as necessary
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Partner with the FC and other key stakeholders to prepare forecasts and budgets.
• Maintain rolling forecasting models, seeking constant process and model improvements.
• Assist with system and process improvements.
• Assist with reviewing coding & posting AP processed invoices.
• Continually seeking ways to streamline & automate accounting processes.
• Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonable request as requested by the Finance Manager & any member of the senior management team.
• Prepare, Maintain and provide insights on client revenue analysis
• Assist in preparation of statutory accounts and year end files.

You will be:

· Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA

· Strong attention to detail

· Strong Excel skills including V Lookups and Pivot tables

· Good all rounder, proactive, great team player

· Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

· Agency/Creative/Retail background

Package:

· Salary: £43,000 - £48,000
