Harmonic are delighted to be working with one of the Music industry's most renowned businesses in their search for a Management Accountant.

The Business

The company is a global phenomenon, associated with some of the world's biggest superstars and frequently featured in Music industry publications. They have interests in both publishing, live entertainment and recorded music. The company are world-renowned and have truly a 'best in class' team in place. There is a great family feel to the working environment where everyone is deeply passionate about the company and the industry.

The company is extremely well-funded and are currently on a growth trajectory whereby they will continue to expand, which will mean some great opportunities to progress. The Management Accountant role is newly-created, and has arisen as a result of that growth.

The Role:

Reporting into the Finance Director, who has a great track record of mentoring colleagues, the business is looking for an ambitious Finalist or Newly Qualified Accountant who can support the Finance Director with the Management Accounts and other exciting projects. The business is open to either industry qualified/finalists or ACA's with experience of Management Accounting.

As the Management Accountant, your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Responsibility for the production of monthly Management Accounts across the business.
  • Completion of consolidated reporting pack including insightful commentary and analysis.
  • Preparation of reconciliations.
  • Assisting in the implementation of new systems.
  • Mentoring junior members of the team.
  • Supporting the Finance Director with any ad-hoc tasks.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders across the finance team.

What we need to see (essential):

  • ACCA/CIMA Finalist or newly qualified.
  • Or, ACA qualified with Management Accounting experience.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A passion for music!

What we'd like to see (bonus):

  • Previous work with a Royalties business
  • Experience within Music, Publishing, TV or Film, Media.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Bonus: Study Support if required, Discretionary Bonus & Private Healthcare
