The Role:

Reporting directly into an ACA qualified Financial Controller, the role has been created to strengthen the finance function, where you will work with and mentor the Finance Assistant to make process improvements. The role takes full ownership of the Management Accounts process including posting accruals, analysis of movements, comparison to budget and production of monthly packs. You will also be working with Production Managers in TV as well as Producers and Account Management in advertising to oversee spends on productions. The opportunity is exceptionally broad, where you will be instrumental in helping to drive efficiencies and making a more robust finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the Management Accounts process (accruals, movement analysis, budget comparison & monthly pack production).
• Assistance with budgeting & forecasting
• Designing the balance sheet reconciliation process
• Act as a key contact for auditory and statutory accounts process
• Manage the Finance Assistant and oversee AP processes
• Reconcile costs on finished projects and help manage over & underspends
• Receivables & cash management
• Ad hoc duties where required

• Newly Qualified ACA
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Good all-rounder, proactive, team player

What We Would Like to See (Bonus Skills):

• Previous Agency experience

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
