Management Accountant | PE backed Healthcare scaleup | London / Hybrid

Harmonic are proud to be working on an exclusive basis with one of the UK's fastest growing healthcare scaleup businesses on the hire of a Management Accountant to join the team.

Working alongside a Senior Finance Business Partner this role will oversee the monthly management accounting reports as well as commentary and analysis for a business unit which has quickly grow in the past 18 months to c. £35 million turnover. Working as part of a larger group you will benefit from being a part of a business two have double twice in size of the past 5 years and who have seen revenues sore to c. £1 billion pounds. The group have a very dynamic portfolio and have grown via M&A (mergers & acquisitions) over the past 5 years. This business unit is their latest acquisition so this role would suit candidates who are hands on and dynamic who enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Headquartered in central London our client offers the chance to work on a hybrid basis. With the expectation being 2 days in their central London offices and the remaining from home. The culture of the business is closer to that of a start-up or SME where they are very agile and flexible. The business is both values driven as well as collaborative. Putting healthcare and their services at the forefront of what they do.

The Role

  • Ownership of the month end close and the production of monthly Management Accounts reporting back to the Senior Finance Business Partner and other key internal stakeholders
  • Support on the budget and forecast processes
  • Production of the board back, commentary and also key robust commercial and strategic analysis
  • Variance analysis (budget vs actuals)
  • Management of AP/AR processes with topline analysis and commentary specifically into cashflow and billings processes.
  • Lead on the delivery of cashflow management, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Manage bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of processes and systems
  • Support the central finance team with statutory and compliance obligations and ah-hoq audit tasks.
  • Support with ah-hoq systems projects

What we need to see (essential):

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Passionate about healthcare or service based industries
  • Strong technical grounding
  • Commercially astute with excellent communication skills
  • Highly analytical and commercial

What we'd like to see (bonus):

  • Experience working within a healthcare or other service lead industries (construction, catering, NHS, pubic sector etc)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Benefits: discretionary bonus up to10%

Start date: ASAP

Location: Central London/ Hybrid (3 days WFH)
