Harmonic are delighted to be working with an award-winning TV & Film business, who are looking to recruit an Investment Assistant.

The Business

The company has become a stalwart in the industry and employs around 50 people, they are well-known for their fun working environment which has a great sociable feel to it. The offices are based in a creative hub of London with a modern physical working environment.

They are a multi-faceted business involved in both the production and financing of a diverse portfolio of media projects. Primarily within Television and Film, they are renowned for being a massive contributor to the creative industries and live entertainment sector in this country. The business is award winning and is critically acclaimed within the sector. The company continues to expand, presenting a fantastic opportunity for someone to grow alongside the business.

The Role:

You will be reporting directly into the Commercial Director and Manager, who have an excellent track record of mentoring less experienced colleagues.

As the Investment Assistant you will be mainly responsible for supporting on investor relations, reporting and communication. As well as the investor relations element you will also be responsible for fund administration duties such as monitoring the investments, revenue collections. This is a broad position providing a range of involvement in Film & TV financing and investment projects.

This is the ideal role for anyone with a massive passion for TV & Film as well as experience within Investments.

Duties:

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Supporting on fund operation tasks from beginning to end of investment cycle.
  • Managing investor interactions and communication.
  • Monitoring investment projects on costs, revenues etc.
  • Supporting on investor reporting.
  • Working on revenue collection from pipeline of investments.
  • Ad-hoc projects supporting the commercial team.

What we need to see (essential):

  • Prior experience on Project Managing/Investments in the TV & Film industry
  • OR, at least 6 months in investment Bank or Investment roles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Massive passion for the TV & Film sector

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 plus bonus
