Interim Financial Controller - Creative Agency - Leeds
Harmonic are delighted to be working with a Creative Agency based in central Leeds. The agency is over 100 employees across four locations, and they are one of the fastest growing independent agencies in the UK. This role could also suit a Senior Finance Manager or Junior Director, the agency can shape the role around an individual dependent on a relevant sector background, personality fit and skill set.
They are market leaders in terms of the investment in personal wellbeing for their employers, and due to both the positive working culture, as well as scope to grow in the business they tend to attract very bright, engaging and personable people.
They are looking for a competent Interim Financial Controller to support on a range of BAU and commercial duties over the next 6 months.
General duties will include:
- Full oversight over 2 entities, each are slightly different business models
- Preparation of a budget and monitoring actual cost and revenue performance against it
- Establishing complete, efficient and robust controls and processes
- Assist with the production of annual statutory accounts
- Oversight of the management accounts
- Weekly WIP meetings with the account's teams
- Business partnering with the leadership team preparing MI information
- Long term P&L forecasting
- Line manager for two junior accountants
- Improving client profitability analysis and reporting within the business such as dashboards, timesheets, day-rates, utilisation
Bonus skills:
- Agency/professional services experience
- Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Engaging and excellent communication skills
Package:
- Up to £425 on a day rate or £75,000 - £80,000 FTC
