Interim Finance Manager | International Music Publishing Business | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with an independent, worldwide leading Music & Theatre Production Company with their search for a Finance Manager to join their sociable, collaborative finance team. The business has worked with countless high-profile clients in the music space, with offices across America and Europe, building a reputation as a leader in all thing's music performance rights.

The Role:

Reporting into an experienced Financial Controller, the role is exceptionally broad where you will be responsible for managing and reporting on all aspects of the company's finances. The role offers great exposure to working with senior management to develop business finance strategies as well as managing junior members of the finance team. Duties will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects. The role is a 9-12-month maternity cover contract, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and producing the monthly management accounts
• Ownership of annual budgeting & forecasting
• Monthly Balance Sheet and P&L review all subsidiaries
• Drive the month-end close process
• Managing a team of 2 finance assistants
• Assessing business processes and driving efficiencies
• Ad-hoc projects, working closely with the FC

What We Need to See (Essential Skills):

• 1-2 years' experience in a Finance Manager role or similar
• ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified
• Experience working in Media / Music / Entertainment / Creative Agency
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Team player
• Strong Excel knowledge

What We Would Like to See (Bonus Skills):

• NetSuite experience

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Start Date: ASAP (maximum 1 month notice period)

Location: Central London / Hybrid
