Interim Finance Manager | Hyper Growth Electric Vehicle Scale-Up | Remote

The Client

We are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with an innovative, hyper growth Electric Vehicle (EV) scale-up business looking to revolutionise the way in which freight is transported by implementing their unique battery powered platform on an international scale.

This is an opportunity to work for an incredibly well funded business with impressive founders that foster a hugely entrepreneurial environment. The growth plans are extremely impressive, and the business expects to be bringing in a significant amount of funding over the next few years.

Now they are looking to hire a Interim Finance Manager to and support their continued expansion. The Role

Reporting into the Finance Controller, you will be a solution focused and experienced Finance Manager responsible for producing management accounts, running transactional finance and process / controls improvement.

Responsibilities

• Production of Management Accounts including budgets vs actuals
• Owning of transactional finance including AP and AR, bank, payment approvals, setting up payments and general bookkeeping
• Improving controls and processes where necessary
• Running the company accounting software on Xero
• Running financial control and supporting the financial controller with audit prep work

What we need to see (essential):

• Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• Experience using Xero accounting software essential
• Experience within managing a high-quality month end process
• Experience creating a strong set of management accounts
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience improving controls and processes
• High attention to detail

What we'd like to see (bonus):

• Experience working in a rapidly scaling environment
• Experience with international subsidiaries preferred
• Knowledge of and experience in EVs would be advantageous

Salary: £400 - £500/day inside IR35

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 3 months

Location: East London - the company prefers 3 days/week in the office but is currently working in line with government restrictions
