Interim CFO | Specialist Manufacturing Company | Initial 2-3 week engagement

Harmonic are delighted to have been approached by a highly successful, international manufacturing company to find them an experienced CFO for an initial 2-3 week engagement in order to perform a health check on their entire finance infrastructure and suggest improvements which will increase efficiency of the entire finance function. Starting with an initial short-term engagement of 2-3 weeks, the role will likely develop into an ongoing Fractional CFO position.

Our clients are currently on a high growth path, having more than doubled their turnover from £6m to £15m in just 4 years, even with the difficult economic situation globally. Their versatile product has applications in multiple industries and has become somewhat of a commodity in recent years, with this comes potential for further growth in the next 18 months.

Located in Kent, our clients have created a dynamic and hardworking environment which creates a culture which is driven by success. The client is looking for someone who can suggests additions to this passionate environment, specifically in their Finance department which currently consists of two.

This role will involve working side by side with the Managing Director and the Exec team, offering suggestions changes that could be made to drive efficiencies within the company.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tax compliance domestically and internationally
• Assess the financial wellbeing of the entire finance function
• Be an advisor to the MD and board on how to drive financial efficiencies within the organisation
• Suggest methods of cutting costs while maintaining profit growth rates
• Review the Budgeting and Forecasting for the company

Essential Experience

• Previous experience as a CFO in a low volume, specialist manufacturing company.
• Has experience working across multiple currencies
• Knowledge of tax compliancy internationally
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant

Bonus Experience

• Prior experience performing health checks of companies

Day Rate £850-£900/day (Outside IR35)
