Interim CFO | Consultancy Scale-Up

The role:

Reporting jointly into the CEO, your role will have a dual aspect: supporting management of the finance function including a Finance Director and transactional team, business partnering with the CEO ensuring growth targets are met, and advising on potential partnerships / M&A which would facilitate growth. The role will be 6 months but with possibility of a temp-perm arrangement.

The company is turning over around £25mill and is anticipated to continue a 30% YOY growth trajectory. Subsequently, an experienced CFO support to the FD as the finance function continues to scale.

What we need to see (Essential):

· Experience of leading a successful audit within a business with a turnover in excess of £20 million.

· High level of commercial finance proficiency: modelling, forecasting, pricing strategies etc.

· Strong technical knowledge surrounding financial reporting best practice.

· Confident public speaking and presentation skills.

· A high level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence

· Production of the Board pack and investor updates.

· Overseeing best-in-class FP&A, including cash flow forecasting, detailed margin analysis and project accounting.

What we'd like to see (Non-essential):

· Experience guiding a business through a growth phase

· Previous experience of PE/VC

· Exposure to a businesses with a commercial real estate or digital product element.

Duration: 6 months initial (possibility of a temp-perm arrangement)

Rate: Negotiable depending upon experience.
