This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry name and play a key role in driving forward the business' growth.

Based from their brand new offices in Central London, our client are truly revolutionising the space, with their own unique and innovative designs and collaborations with the globe's biggest names. Having had a record-breaking year in 2022, turning over£25 million, they gained national recognition for their products. They are keen to build upon this and continue their quest to expand internationally.

You will be surrounded by architects and designers who are heavily immersed in the design and furniture industry, and who are emotionally and professionally invested in the company's values and designs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proven track record in managing both technical and commercial finance functions, who is keen to undertake additional responsibilities as the business continues to scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports to Directors
  • Leading the delivery of monthly management accounts

  • Overseeing the work of more junior transactional finance team members in invoicing, credit control and reconciliations
  • Providing financial insight and support to the CEO including business case analysis
  • Control of VAT and Corporation Tax returns
  • Developing KPIs
  • Managing project financials including analysing project profitability
  • Managing cashflow and working capital processes
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

What we'd like to see (essential):

  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
  • Strong background with luxury products at Financial Controller level
  • Experience leading management accounts delivery to C-suite individuals
  • Commercially sharp, with experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Passion for the furniture space

What we'd love to see (bonus skills):

  • Experience working within furniture brand/retailer
  • Previous team management experience

Salary: £80,000 to £90,000 + benefits

Location: Central London
