Group Treasury Manager | International Engineering Consultancy | London / Hybrid

Harmonic has been retained by one of the world's most successful engineering, construction and planning consultancies with offices in 200 countries and a completed project value of over $300bn. After a recent office relocation in Central London, they are looking for a Group Treasury Manager to support with their continued expansion.

Despite the size of the business, they adopt a very entrepreneurial approach to work with minimal bureaucracy. The business has grown rapidly over the past decade and has supported some of the most iconic construction and engineering projects in the world to date.

This role has exposure to senior stakeholders and board level directors so you will need to be resilient with strong stakeholder management skills.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Group Treasury you will be responsible for all UK Treasury matters including managing the banking relationships, building hands-on models and decks and interacting with senior stakeholders including the UK MD, Group CFO and Board members.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on the interest payments for all the bank debt in the UK.
  • Checking/reconciling bank debt interest calculations, and all bank charges.
  • Coordinate/Send payments instructions to the account payable department.
  • Recording the interest expense and debt obligations using the in-house accounting system on a monthly accrual basis.
  • Recording loans principal movements mainly loan settlements.
  • Monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Follow-up relating to any other requirements and reports to satisfy external audit and finance department needs.
  • Assist the accounting function for any treasury related transactions.
  • Coordinate with the treasury team in assisting the trade finance function, banking guarantees issuance and amendments.
  • Recording LG charges and commissions.

What we need to see

  • 5-8 years of experience in a Treasury role
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to deal with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator

What we would like to see

  • Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Change management experience highly desirable

Location: London - 2/3 days / week in the office

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + benefits
