Group FP&A Director - 12 Month FTC | Rapidly Scaling Cyber Security & Risk Advisory Firm | London / Hybrid

The Client

We are excited to be working with an incredibly exciting high tech Risk Advisory consultancy offering insight and rapid response in a range of areas including cyber security through to corporate risk including operational risk in dangerous jurisdictions and terror threat risk mitigation!

They provide genuinely invaluable protection and prevention services with unrivalled global reach and have secured significant investment in scaling the business towards management and advisory of '21st Century risk' putting them on track to see substantial increases in revenue from a current £300m.

This is a newly created role in the Group FP&A team to support the existing team of 4 to continuously improve processes, reporting and business partnering across the company. The team and leadership are very impressive and culturally a great bunch with ambitions to help scale the business to be the global leader in the field. There is of course the added benefit that business is genuinely 'doing good' for their clients and continuously pushing the boundaries in terms of new and creative solutions.

The role

Reporting to the Group Commercial Finance Director and the CFO, the Group FP&A Director will be responsible for the Group Budget, as well as financial reporting and regular forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team two (Manager and Analyst)
• Discuss/resolve issues with Regional Directors of Commercial Finance in weekly Global Commercial Finance meeting
• Monthly Group Reporting - Flash, ExCo, Partner presentations
• Group wide forecasting process
• Group wide budgeting process - including timetable, target setting, system enhancements, ExCo/Board papers, and stretch objectives
• Delivery of Commercial Improvement workstreams such as Global Reporting Pack, Partner Scorecard, and Global Pricing tool
• Support wider Group Commercial Finance team in other Commercial Improvement initiatives (Project Profitability Dashboard, Productivity Dashboard, etc)
• Deputise for Group Commercial Finance Director as and where required
• Ad hoc group commercial requests

What we need to see (essential)

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 8+ years PQE
• Experience in a senior capacity in a Group level role or owning a regional budget / forecast in a large company
• Excellent computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, Tagetik, Advanced Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communicator
• Change management experience highly desirable
• Experience with data visualising tools Power BI (data processing and programming languages a plus)

What we'd like to see (non-essential)

• Professional services experience highly desirable

Location: London - 2-3 days / week in the office

Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 + Benefits
