The Role:

Reporting directly into an ACA qualified Group Financial Controller, the role has been created to strengthen the finance function, where you focused on all aspects of accounting for the group and the parent company. The role is to support the Head of Global Finance and the regional teams in monthly and annual processes and development projects. The role takes full ownership of the Management Accounts process including posting accruals, analysis of movements, comparison to budget and production of monthly packs. The opportunity is exceptionally broad, where you will be instrumental in helping to drive efficiencies and making a more robust finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the Management Accounts process (accruals, movement analysis, budget comparison & monthly pack production).
• Assistance with budgeting & forecasting
• Designing the balance sheet reconciliation process
• Act as a key contact for auditory and statutory accounts process
• Reconcile costs on finished projects and help manage over & underspends
• Receivables & cash management
• Ad hoc duties where required

What We Need to See (Essential Skills):

• Newly Qualified ACA / ACCA from an Accountancy Practice Firm
• Prior experience preparing group consolidated accounts in a multicurrency group
• Experience of project accounting and work in progress
• Strong Excel knowledge
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Good all-rounder, proactive, team player

What We Would Like to See (Bonus Skills):

• Previous Agency experience
• Understanding of taxation - corporate, income, sales/VAT

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £58,000 - £65,000
