The Client

Harmonic are excited to be working with rapidly growing B2B SaaS start-up that are looking for an FP&A Manager to support the development of this rapidly growing business.

They are a market-leading SaaS-based catering and event management platform for restaurants, hotels, and other unique venues. This exciting business enables these venues to seamlessly book and plan events, increase sales and streamline their workload. This business has been used by more than 15,000 exciting venues to book and manage over 6 million events!

This role would suit a confident and driven individual, with strong financial modelling skills who can work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. They are looking for an FP&A Manager that will be able to drive insights into company performance and wants to be part of the strategic decision-making process.

The Role

This position will report directly to the CFO and will lead on all FP&A activity and provide analytical insight whilst collaborating with multiple teams across the business.

You will need to implement and improve forecasting and budgeting across the business- this will initially involve a lot of hands-on work as well a strong commercial skillset. You will help to build-out complex financial models of various metrics and KPI's and be involved in high level conversations to help identify areas of opportunity and shape the future of the business.

Duties

• Manage the production of the Forecasting, Planning and Analysis cycle (FP&A).
• Review analysis results, develop insightful suggestions for sourcing, cost reduction, potential investments and lead strategic business decisions
• Prepare reporting for investors and other designated users of financial information
• Develop and execute policies and procedures to support the functional infrastructure and streamline operations
• In depth analysis of company performance, including identifying key KPI's and metrics
• Trend and customer insight analysis to support key strategy decisions
• Business partnering with operations, sales, and HR teams to develop and monitor action-oriented budgets, ensuring spending control.
• Work with the data team to build dashboards and visualization tools
• Manage financial reports and P&L
• Be an individual contributor and an excellent team leader
• Manage and mentor a team of analysts.

What you need

• 5+ Years of FP&A and Financial Analysis experience
• SaaS experience and strong understanding of SaaS metrics
• Good budgeting and forecasting skillset
• Commercially astute
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to be impactful at a senior level
• Incredibly ambitious with a desire to continue to learn
• Expert in Tableau

What we'd like to see

• Knowledge of Startup ecosystems and experience working in a Startup
• Experience working in a PE/VC-backed or fast-paced environment
• Experience using NetSuite and Salesforce

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 + Bonus

Location: Concord, MA (Flexible Hybrid)

Start date: ASAP
