FP&A Manager | High Growth SaaS Scale-Up | London / Hybrid

We are proud to announce that we are working on an exclusive basis with one of London's most exciting Adtech / SaaS scale-ups looking to build out their team in FP&A.

The company offers an exciting new Adtech product that has taken off in the US and has helped scale the business rapidly, growing revenues by over 150%. They have doubled headcount in the past 12 months and secured several new revenue streams on a long-term recurring basis.

The company has just been acquired by one of the biggest tech investors in the US (in front of Facebook) giving them huge funds to further their international expansion and start to take the space they operate in by storm.

The leadership team is incredibly impressive and have successfully scaled the business to a healthy ARR through entirely ethical means which correlates with their collaborative and friendly culture. Their offices are based in on the edge of Shoreditch and the City of London with numerous restaurants and bars just a stone's throw away.

The role

Reporting to the Head of FP&A the FP&A Manager will be ultimately responsible for supporting the Head of FP&A in analysing operational and financial data, building vast databases, and preparing reports for senior management.

As part of your role, you will also discuss key findings on a frequent basis to help team leaders and senior management teams to better understand the business, improve our products, create more value for our partners and ultimately grow our business.

Responsibilities

  • Be a true business partner by fostering a culture of integrity and providing supportive insight to key stakeholders.
  • Liaising with senior management, heads of departments and other key leadership figures.
  • Preparing financial and strategic plans for individual departments and the wider organisation.
  • Communicate issues succinctly and in a timely manner. Proactively identify issues before they become problems.
  • Support with interpreting financial and non-financial metrics and share information to enable the business to grow according to our core values and strategic outlook.
  • Creating financial models to predict growth and forecast performance.
  • Analysing previous budgets and forecasts and performing variance analysis to explain discrepancies.
  • Analysing past financial performance, preparing competitor analysis, and examining market trends along with commentary for management.
  • Evaluating new and existing projects, investments, and assets to determine their validity and appraise their value.
  • Provide routine and ad hoc reporting and analysis to the team and to business partners in a form that accurately and clearly articulates the key points.

What we need to see (essential)

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Strong background in Financial Analysis with budget and forecast ownership
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience within a SaaS, app, Adtech or ecommerce environment
  • Experience analysing performance metrics and understanding of key digital metrics (e.g. ARPU, RPM, LTV) is necessary
  • Experience in presenting to key stakeholders
  • Accounting and bookkeeping skills
  • Experienced in using Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience using Powerpoint or equivalent

What we would like to see (bonus)

  • Experience using Xero

Salary

  • £70,000 - £80,000 + 10% bonus + share options
