Job description

Financial Controller | TV Production Company Focusing on High-End Scripted Dramas | Central London

Harmonic are excited to work with a TV production company with several high-end projects underway to hire a Financial Controller for their Central London office.

The Client

The company has previously contracted with major broadcast and global streaming services, with shows airing on Netflix UK, Now, Sky, and more. The studio focuses primarily on dramatic scripted series for a global audience, with household-name casts and seat-gripping scripts.

Following a major investment from one of the largest private-equity firms in 2014, the company scaled up and expanded their production scope. The business forecasts a 100% revenue growth in the next 2 years. They doubled their headcount in the past 3 years and are consistently looking for more finance professionals to add to their team.

At a time when the UK's TV and Film industries are experiencing unprecedented growth, the opportunity to join a production company with big-name, anticipated titles on the way is incredibly exciting.

The business is based in a modern-office studio in central London with opportunities for remote working if required. As a fast-paced and vibrant work environment, employees are all like-minded and passionate about TV and Film. They boast an enjoyable work/life balance as well as benefits that include access to tickets to advance showings and premieres.

This role will have the opportunity to provide input to strategy-level leadership to help direct the financial future of the business and boasts great exposure to C-level and Board leaders.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate with several teams within the production company to assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting. They will also be a commercial-minded, forward thinking certified accountant who has project-based experience and will see the opportunity to contribute to an industry-leading company and work with passionate, driven co-workers as a fun and exciting challenge. This role is integral in the financial development of the production company as well as the development of exciting and culture-changing TV programs.
