Harmonic are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing Independent TV production company based in London.

The Business:

They are a multi award-winning production company that has been behind several critically acclaimed TV shows across multiple genres. The business has continued to scale year on year, having great success with their formats, turnover now stands at around £15 million and is continuing to rise.

This is the perfect opportunity for a qualified accountant with experience in the Media & Entertainment industry, who is looking to join a growing and exciting business where they can make a significant impact.

The Role:

This is a newly created position, which has come about through continued expansion of the business. As the Financial Controller, you will be reporting directly into the part-time CFO and the company directors. You will primarily be responsible for overseeing the finance function as well as supporting on the business strategy. There is excellent progression on offer with a clear pathway to Finance Director and the chance to expand your team as the company scales.

The Duties:

The duties will include but not be limited to:

• Overseeing the management of the finance function.
• Management of one Finance Assistant
• Producing monthly management accounts and presenting to Senior Management.
• Supporting with the commercial and financial strategy.
• Responsible for FP&A (budgeting & forecasting).
• Ad-hoc duties and projects to support the Directors.

What we need to see (essential):

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
• Experience in the TV, Entertainment or Film industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly ambitious and driven.

What we'd like to see (bonus):

• Experience in TV or Film
• PMI experience

• Prior experience working within the independent TV/Film production space

  Salary: £55,000 - £70,000
