Financial Controller | Fast Growth Tech Scale-Up | Bristol/3 days remote

The Client

Harmonic are delighted to be working with an incredibly fast-growing SaaS scale-up. Based in a vibrant Bristol office space the business boasts an amazingly diverse and talented team. The culture is one of work hard play hard and although expectations are high, the leadership are friendly and relaxed.

The Role

You will work closely with the SLT and will be responsible for overseeing the entire Finance function covering commercial analysis, business partnering, day-to-day Finance and financial reporting. As the business scales this position has the scope to develop into a Head of Finance/Finance Director role.

· Responsibility for the production/presentation of monthly management accounts.

· Management of the monthly close and group consolidation process.

· Develop and implement forecasting, planning and budgeting processes (FP&A).

· Finance business partner to sales team, project and tech teams and the leadership team.

· Improve and implement robust financial controls.

· Improve and streamline the month-end process.

· Continuous process improvement and system implementation to support the business as it grows.

· Extensive ad-hoc projects alongside the leadership team.

· Build a team as the business scales whilst managing the existing team of 2

What we need to see (essential):

· ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Strong technical skills

· Competent leadership skills

· Commercially astute

· Ambitious and passionate about being part of a start-up/scale-up

What we'd like to see (bonus):

· Experience working in a start-up environment or similar

· Experience working in the SaaS sector

· Knowledge of Xero

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000
