Financial Controller| Disruptive Healthtech Business | London/Hybrid

Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with a rapid growth SaaS health technology business in their search for a Financial Controller. Our client has developed a disruptive platform for patients of inflammatory conditions, giving them access to personalised and affordable therapies, specific to their condition. The client's mission is to make personalised treatment affordable and specific for all - specifically targeting flare-ups.

Having raised over £2million, our client is looking for an ambitious Financial Controller to work directly alongside the CEO to provide financial support and insights to contribute to the company's continued growth. The role is incredibly broad, responsible for day-to-day finances as well as supporting in the development of commercial finance processes in the long-term.

The Role:

This role is incredibly hands-on, taking ownership of all reporting and developing areas of commercial finance, ultimately looking to become a Finance Director role within a year. You will have significant exposure to key investors and the senior leadership team, with the role being largely autonomous so the ideal candidate will be someone who wants the challenge of leading the finance function.

You will continuously develop ways to improve the financial controls of the business whilst developing key commercial KPIs to advise the business's strategic growth. You will have the opportunity to build your own team, so we are looking for an approachable figure who the team can look to for leadership in difficult periods.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic analysis of budgets and forecasts.
• Support the CEO on Investor and Board reporting and future fundraising.
• Develop reports on finance and SaaS recurring revenue KPIs.
• Oversee annual audit and month end processes.
• Develop high quality financial modelling.
• Implementation of an ERP system.
• Provide effective Business Partnering to Sales and Tech teams.
• Evaluate billing and insurance structures.
• Build, mentor and develop an excellent team as the business grows.

What our client would like to see (essential):

• Previous experience as a Financial Controller in a tech or SaaS business.
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Commercially astute with strong financial analysis experience.
• Ambitious and 'understands' the 'chaos' that life in a start-up involves!

What we'd like to see (bonus):

• Experience in a health/medical technology or software business.
• Experience within a fast-growth start-up.

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 + benefits (including bonus)
